I'm using PMail 4.50 BP1 (Win32). when replying to one of the messages I get an errors message (which cannot be "clicked away"):

Ran out of Group Table for HTML data (GetHtmlWord)

btw: where can I report such cases? in other words - is this forum the proper place to report bugs etc.?

We are getting the same error message when viewing some messages. Has been happening for a few weeks, so I'm told.
Does anyone know what the problem might be?

I don't know if it is applicable for your case, but are you avoiding use of Bearhtml for some reason?  The error is most likely to come from HTS the companion product to the TER editor.

 I am getting this as well, along with the other 'ran out of jpg memory' msg when I am only forwarding received messages.  And this is only happening in Pmail..

 Why would that be?  I am running ver 4.51 which is consistently giving me memory problems such as locking everything up while it is downloading large messages. It just happened right now as I was typing this..

There is also the issue of Pmail NOT properly loading remote graphics even tho I ask it to do so..

Is there an upgrade to Pmail that addresses these issues?

 Not my system as I have 3GB Ram with 2GB consistently available and NO other program puts me on pause while downloading information or webpages.

Can help? Or do I need to check out other email clients...?

Thanks but been there, did that, LONG ago...

It only works sometimes but most of my downloads like Korean Air, my bank, BBC News updates, AARP, on and on.. simply come up as crap in Pegasus..

 Is anyone there working on keeping up with modern times or is it time for us to find a new email client..?

What OS are you running?  The error message you are seeing is most frequently seen when running in Win 98, which has a very limited resource pool, and it is HTS sub-system that is trying to render the html

I never saw a reply with a resolution to this problem. I'm also getting the message:

 Ran out of Group Table for HTML data (GetHtmlWord)

when forwarding an HTML email. Using Pmail 4.51 on Windoze XP SP3 on a 2-core 3.2Ghz machine with 2.5GB of RAM and nothing else going on, so I can't be out of resources. Same issue with the same email on other machines using XP SP2 and single-core CPUs.

If anyone is interested, I can forward the offending email as an attachment.

As mentioned in an earlier posting, this is an error in the HTS module that Pegasus Mail uses to convert RTF into Html. There is a new release and it may solve this problem. In the mean time please forward me a copy of the message, and I will pass it on to David for his validation testing.

I am having the same problem. I have done the above but no change.  I am running Windows 7 with twin CPU and plenty of memory.  I have not seen any reply to the problem which was first raised several months ago.  

It only happens with some emails, usually containing graphics.  I have downloaded and installed the latest version of Pegasus.

You have to be a little more specific about your problem because the quoted part refers to a different issue than the thread subject: As remote image download should be solved by changing the WinSock option I assume you're referring to the thread subject: There still is no solution, unfortunately, as it requires an update of the TER/HTS module which David Harris cannot afford according to recent notes to the beta testers ...

Sorry for the repetition but I must ask again, do you have a file called Bearhtml.dll in your Pegasus Mail executables directory (eg c:\pmail)?

If not the latest upgrade can be downloaded from the Community download area http://community.pmail.com/files/folders/pegadd/entry24640.aspx

With this installed you should not get any further problems of this kind.
