    Messages to Spam Folder

Recently bought new laptop with Vista and loaded Pegasus. Spamhalter seems to delete incoming spam but there are no messages in the SPAM folder, although some of them may be removed by the mail filtering. Since transferring my files from the older laptop to the newer laptop there have  been no messages moved into the Spam Folder and when I delete a message, the message disappears and is not moved to the deleted folder. Tried resetting the Spam folder name but that didn't work. Any ideas?

Concerning deleted messages: Check whether the tick is set in "Preserve deleted messages until Pegasus Mail closes" to be found under Tools -> Options -> Basic settings .

Concerning Spam halter: Do you have any other Anti-Virus software installed (sometime coming in a bundle with your new computer) which in many cases may actually include Anti-Spam filtering and which may deal with spam before PM actually gets to see it?

    Just an idea.

    Cheers

I usually go the the settings of my spam folder and select preserve deleted messages. This way you can't at least view your incoming spam messages before they are automatically deleted.
