Gene:I had to reinstall Pegas mail because on my windows 7 machine and when I double click on a email message it will not open. I have to highlite it and go to open in the file menu then it will open so i can read it. Any idea about what setting can make the double click work again?
Looks like a message to be posted to the support forum (see here for another thread on this) ... Anyway: You're probably talking about opening formatted or encrypted messages in preview mode where the rendering takes longer than with plain text messages. As Pegasus Mail starts rendering on the first click it's busy while the second click comes in so it ignores the latter: Unfortunately there's nothing you can do about this other than working around it by using the menu as described or pressing the Return key after highlighting the message.
