• Re: Gmail 421-4.7.0 (and similar gcrap issues)

After thinking about this issue for a while, I developed an idea about what might be happening, so let me ask you a question: does this happen exclusively when you forwardmessages without editing them first? If so, then the problem is something called ''DMARC'', and I can probably provide a workaround for it fairly quickly. If it happens at other ...

  • Re: Gmail 421-4.7.0 (and similar gcrap issues)

Is there any chance you could get in touch with GMail and find out from them *exactly* what it is in your messages that they're objecting to? I checked out the FAQ they mentioned, but it's vague to the point of being useless, and unless I have some idea what they're actually objecting to, it's going to be very difficult for me either to offer any ...

  • Re: problem after windows 10 April Update, version 1803

Just to let you know that this problem has been brought to my attention. If, as it appears, MS is preventing executables to be run from server volumes, then I doubt there is much I can do about it, but should a viable solution present itself, I'll happily work on implementing it.Cheers!-- David --

  • Re: Problems, and Solution, for AT&T SMTP Difficulty

Michael idW pointed me at this problem report, so I'm aware of it now.In order to fix this, I really need to see a session log showing a delivery that fails in this way. Without the session log, I can really only guess at what sequence of events is happening to lead to what you're seeing. Any chance you could find or generate such a session log ...

  • Re: PM crashes while sending mail

Eric, Michael forwarded me the crash dump information covering your problem. My best suggestion is that the filename of your addressbook is too long. According to the crash dump, your addressbook has the filename ''GTW2RST5_NONKEL_dec-12-132629-2017_Conflict.PMR'', which is considerably longer than anything the program was designed to ...

  • Re: Pegasus 4.7 will not run after an unexpected program shut down

Brian Fluet:Me too. I was shocked to see the default mailbox files created in \MAIL when preconfigure was not selected. No prompt for single or multi-user option at all. Brian, perhaps I can put this in perspective for you.The so-called ''single-user mode'' in Pegasus Mail dates from the earliest days of the DOS version of the ...

  • Re: CVE-2017-9046 - "ssgp.dll" ?

cogx: ''v4.72 build 572Vendor supposedly fixed: January 21, 2016 May 19, 2017 : Public Disclosure'' So, that post says the flaw is still working in 4.72 build 572, but it was supposed to have been fixed in January 21, 2016 which should mean it was fixed in 4.72 build 572 (Feb 19, 2016)?I ...

  • Re: Strange glitch sending to multiple addresses

What you're seeing here is the raw form of the message as Pegasus Mail stores it in ''queue reloadable'' format - that is, it's the format the program uses to allow it to reload the message for further editing or composition. Before the program sends the message out, it converts it from this format to a format called ''Final form'', which is no ...

  • Re: mbxmaint_ui malfunction?

I've made a note that I need to check the version difference out. Brian, if you could, would you be willing to send me the PMM/PMI file pair for the damaged folder so I can test the code out? I won't read anything and will delete it when I've done what I need.Cheers!-- David --

  • Re: Verifying 4.72 download

Well, I can tell you that I use a Comodo signing certificate, and have done so for a number of years now. I've never had any problems with it in the past, and all the systems I have available to me here tell me that w32-472.exe is signed with a valid signature.I can't think of any reason why IE11 might have trouble with it, except that the ...
