• Re: Missing addressbooks

I am operating under the assumption the the current E: drive is the old C: drive. If this is NOT correct then you can stop reading. If it IS correct then here is what to try: Rename C:\PMAIL to C:\PMAIL_NEW Copy E:\PMAIL to C:\PMAIL Add the -O option to your Pegasus Mail shortcut. It should look something like ...

  • Re: Messages with URGENT property set not sorted as expected

You might also check the folder sorting options. While the new mail folder has focus go to the Folder pull-down menu item and review its settings. If you haven't done a system restart since the problem started I suggest doing one. I know that sounds absurd but it's really weird the odd behaviors I have encountered that have ...

  • Re: Missing addressbooks

How you go about restoring the old mailbox data it is dependent on how similar the new install is to the old one. It can be fairly easy if the paths to the Pegasus Mail program directory and the mailbox directory are identical on the new install as the old (they must be identical, including the mailbox directory name). It's more ...

  • Re: Missing addressbooks

If you have access to the old mailbox data you can look to see if there are address book files that didn't get brought into the new mailbox directory. Address books are normally made up of two files with the extension .PMR & .PM! (there could also be .PM1 but it's unlikely). It's safe to copy any missing file pair into the new ...

  • Re: Most recent English version

Go to www.pmail.com and download the English v4.73. The only thing unique about Pegasus Mail running on Win10 is that it will not work if installed inside of either of the \Program Files directories. This is due to the built-in file protections of Win10 that prevent modification of files inside of the \Program Files directories.

  • Re: Spam Filtering

If you wanted to direct all .ru messages to the spam folder you could create new mail expression filter (when folder is opened) that checks the From header for .ru and moves those messages to spam. The expression would be some variation of From:*.ru> depending on what the From header looks like.

  • Re: Setting status with filter

I'm sorry. I read your message but obviously didn't ''read'' your message. AFAIK, the only options that affect attributes are mark message as read and mark message as significant which I'm sure you've already found in the list of actions.

  • Re: Issue with an auto saved message causing the program to reboot

With Pegasus Mail closed, use a file explorer to navigate to your home mailbox directory then look for a file with a .PMO extension. These are auto-saved, draft, or stationary messages. Move it out of the directory for future deletion once the problem is solved. There may be a corresponding .PNX file if an RTF version was saved. ...

  • Re: difference in appearance? v4.21 vs. v4.73

What you used to view in was List mode whereas you are now in Preview mode. To switch, click the ''List'' button located in the toolbar of that multi-pane window. You'll then have the folder list window from which you can open folders in their own window. Remember, there are settings that control whether the desktop state is ...
