• Re: Pegasus looking at old IP address for domain

Thank you for your reply. Yup, it was a local setting after all. It's all good now. Thanks!

  • Pegasus looking at old IP address for domain

I've just moved a domain to a new server, checked that DNS records are correct and used a DNS propogation checker to confirm that all records are in place and everything is resolving where it should. I can access my mail through webmail just fine, but when checking in Pegasus it's still looking for the old server IP. Is there a way to force ...

  • Re: Error 255 and MHS SMFSEND directory?

Went into pconfig.exe and checked... it was all set to Y's. Weird. I've done many installations of Pegasus on different machines and never had this happen before. No idea why it would default to Y's this time? Anyway, thanks for your suggestion. I appreciate your reply.

  • Error 255 and MHS SMFSEND directory?

Well I'll be a monkey's uncle... I've been using Pegasus since v3 and have never seen this error before. I'd like to understand what's happening and why. You know, I always get excited when I have something new come up in Pegasus because it means I can learn more about it. I'm funny that way. I guess there are two kinds of ...

  • Change addressbook display columns?

Is it possible to change the address book display columns? Also, is it possible to create my own addressbook entry fields? If so, how? (i.e. change the current ''Name'', ''Key'' and ''Phone'' columns to ''Dept/Company'', ''Domain'', ''Key'', ''Name'' and ''Email Address'') Thanks in advance.

  • Re: Pegasus or Mercury - which one?

Thanks for your response so quickly! The copy of Pegasus on the server computer would only work if I used the static path instead of relative to the network. I've managed to get it to work on the workstations by modifying config file, shortcut, etc. myself instead of using the executable files listed above. It's my understanding that ...

  • Re: Pegasus or Mercury - which one?

I appreciate your instructions, thank you. I've been trying to set this up on my network, and am embarrassed to say I'm already running into problems at just step 2!1. I've installed the program on the 'server' at C:\PMAIL\MAIL. 'admin' user was automatically created and I could open it fine.2. I ran PCONFIG.exe and changed the path to ...

  • Re: Pegasus or Mercury - which one?

Thanks for all your feedback. I've had a family emergency to tend to, so this is going to have to wait for a bit. But I'll give it a go when I'm back. I also have some hardware upgrades on thier way, so I'll likely set aside a few days for reconfiguring/installing ''mission control'' all at the same time. Thanks!

  • Pegasus or Mercury - which one?

Hi all,I hope I'm posting in the correct forum. If not, please forgive.I'm currently running independent incidences of Pegasus on four computers, all XP Home SP2 and networked. I now have a need to change from this setup so I can share mailboxes between the computers so no matter which computer I'm using, ...
