Hi Guys, Since a few days we experience an oddity with our public mail folder. Mercury D is polling the single user mailboxes at the ISP and retrieving available mails to local user mailboxes. Additionally Mercury D ...

  • Re: ClamAV 0.99.3 has been released

Hi Brian, Thanks for testing. Do you already use ClamAV for a while? I have no experience with it. Our mails firstly are being AV checked with our ISP and secondly with the local AV software installed on the user machines when they opening mails. Until now I didn't install any additional AV software at the server where Mercury is running to avoid ...

  • Re: Used version of OpenSSL

Hi Thomas, Very interesting. Thanks for your effort. Unfortunately I'm not very skilled in encryption stuff. TLS of Mercury 4.8 works fine so far with German ISP provider mail accounts. And that's why I didn't care anymore about the SSL version etc. But nowadays, where another security bug appears nearly each week, I'm more and more interested in ...

FJR:Hmm ... if you use IMAP, there may be a solution (assuming you have access to presidents mail account). Create a mail account i.e. ''president-away''. The people allowed to manage presidents mails while he is absent get access data to that mailbox. You add a common filter to presidents mailbox, that you apply to the inbox in case of need, ...
