  • Suppresssing unwanted attachment infomation

Hi  When sending mail my recipients were complaining that there were unnecessary attachments arriving with my emails, oftern *.dat files. I then realised that these are probably something to do with images from my signature which has a couple of logos in it. I have now ticked the ''Don't add ''attachment information'' to Multipart messages'' ...

  • misleading attachment notices

This is becoming an increasingly frequent annoyance: mail recipients tell me they can't open the attachment -- when I haven't included any attachment.  For some reason PMail adds something that shows up as an attachment; something like this: Attachments: C:\Users\Peter\AppData\Local\Temp\WPM$4JI0.PM$ ...

  • Attachments-- location of

I need to delete files from my computer (space issues), and now realize I do not know where Pmail is storing attachments that arrive onto my computer via email.  Can someone tell me where I'll find those?  I tried searching on all .jpg files but found nothing related to Pmail attachments.  TIA

  • Saving all attachments to a different directory

I guess I'm having trouble with the syntax I'm using to create my rule. I want all attachments, regardless of filename or extension, to be saved to a My Documents directory. (Also want the real world filename saved so the file is identifiable.) In the ''and it contains'' box, I've tried ''*.*'' (without the quotes) to indicate all filenames and ...

  • Attachment file extensions and mime-types

According to this post, ''The method of identification for all attachments depends on the settings in two files: FILETYPE.PM & MIME-MAP.PM ... The default files have not been updated for some time.'' http://community.pmail.com/forums/post/20740.aspx Does anyone have a set of patches to these 2 files, or updated versions incorporating ...

  • Help with Limits.exe on a network

Hi, Folks I recently installed 4.61 on our network. I have a single installation of Pegasus Mail on a Windows 2008 64bit Storage Server and the clients access their mail (on the same server), via a desktop link to the winpm-32.exe program file. After installing 4.61 I was very pleased to read about Limits.exe that imposes soft/hard limits on the ...

  • Issues with Pegasus 4.52

  • Re: Attachment problem

I did. Is there anything you suggest I should do once I reach Tools | Internet options | General?  To repeat:  everything seems to be working normally, except the sending of messages with an attachment doesn't go through; and there is no error message.
